Clear Creek Cleanups

WDTU is always looking for project volunteers. We appreciate generous donations of time & effort.

WDTU sponsors a yearly stream cleanup on Clear Creek.

Clear Creek, a tributary of Colorado’s South Platte River, has headwaters at the continental divide near Loveland Pass and flows largely along the I-70 corridor before diverting into Clear Creek Canyon and exiting the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains at Golden, CO. Clear Creek is a multi-use recreational river, including fishing, whitewater rafting and kayaking, and even panning for gold.

Clear Creek is right in our membership’s backyard and enjoyed by many of us, so WDTU organizes a yearly cleanup event in early Fall. Information about the next cleanup event can be found here.
