Colorado River Watch
WDTU participates in the Colorado River Watch water quality monitoring program. Led by WDTU member Dennis Wiles, we will start the Clear Creek River Watch sampling in April.
The sampling on Clear Creek will take place monthly from April through November.
We will meet at the Mayhem Gulch parking lot at 9:00 AM and then car pool to the three sites. Watch our emails for details and timing of the sampling events.
Colorado Parks & Wildlife Volunteer Program
Colorado Parks & Wildlife has a volunteer program. You can sign up for volunteer opportunities at their web site http://cpw.state.co.us/. They will send you emails about the opportunities. If you volunteer 40 hours a year, they will give you a Colorado Parks Pass. River Watch volunteer time qualifies under the CPW Volunteer Program.
