Colorado River Watch

The current partner that helped fund River Watch has pulled it’s contract as of July.

There was some question about the program continuing. We have been told the program is seeking a new partner. We will proceed with testing and below are the testing dates for Clear Creek. They will all be the third Thursday of each monthThe first date is April 18. See the event calendar.

River Watch Sampling

WDTU participates in the Colorado River Watch water quality monitoring program.  Led by WDTU member Dennis Wiles .  We will meet at the Mayhem Gulch parking lot at 9:15 AM and then car pool to the three sites.  Information about the next sampling event can be found here.

Colorado Parks & Wildlife Volunteer Program

Colorado Parks & Wildlife has a volunteer program.  You can sign up for volunteer opportunities at their web site http://cpw.state.co.us/. They will send you emails about the opportunities. If you volunteer 40 hours a year, they will give you a Colorado Parks Pass. River Watch volunteer time qualifies under the CPW Volunteer Program.
