West Denver TU has a long-standing relationship with the Windy Peak Outdoor Lab (part of Jefferson County Public Schools), dating back almost 20 years. We helped construct the pond and docks on the site. We present programs for sixth graders where we teach stream ecology, aquatic entomology, conservation, and fly tying. All of the tools and materials for fly tying and the rods for fishing are provided by the chapter.
