This trip is OFFICIALLY CANCELLED due to high river flows.  Sorry.   Fred Portillo is coordinating a Chapter fishing trip to the Green River in Utah from Saturday, April 29 – Wednesday, May 3. Carpooling is recommended. We typically leave at 6 AM on Saturday, arrive about 2 pm, and fish either the A or B Sections before checking in at the resort. We leave by 8 am on Wednesday. 2017 Fantasy Raffle

One of the major fund raisers for our chapter is the annual “Fantasy Raffle”. This is a winner-takes-all contest in which the person holding the winning ticket wins a fabulous prize consisting of 35+ items ranging from big to small. The highlight item is a handmade bamboo fly rod setup, which includes a reel, extra spool, fly line, and backing. Forest Service Hosts AG Ranch Kids Day

The Forest Service is hosting Denver Public School kids for the 4th annual AG Ranch Kids Day.  The day is designed to introduce students to concepts of natural resource management, including recreation, fire, forestry, wildlife, and invasive species. There will be around 60 students plus chaperones and teachers. The students break into groups and walk to learning stations on the ranch.  These stations include archaeology, fire fighting, mule packing, rock formations, and more.  WDTU volunteers will staff two stations, aquatic entomology and a fly…
