CSU Boulder graduate Student Daniel Gibson-Reinemer is in his fourth semester of his masters program concentrationg on data analysis and multivariate statistics related to fisheries biology. His studies also included fisheries science, community and population ecology, and a study of the relationship between geology and water chemistry in Colorado waters. He currently is continuing research into using chemical markers in the tissue of fish to identify where hatchery fish were raised. By identifying the chemical charicteristics of the a hatcheries environment this information can be related to the characteristics in the olithe tissue of the fish.
