The 2003 Fly Tying Clinic was a success. We had over 400 guests and 48 fly tyers from three western states. The weather was very cold and snow the days before. The day of the event the weather was sunny but cold. There still was snow on the ground. Due to the construction on the Jeffco property parking was quite tight. The recent snows and the parking may have been the cause for the attendance to be lower than what it was last year. But by all accounts it still was quite a successful event

This year we did not have discounted tickets at the various fly shops. The discount tickets have always caused money handling and accounting problems for everyone. So this year we provided the shops with discount coupons and provided access to discount coupons from our website. It was easier for the shops and us. The results were just as successful.
