37th Annual Fly Tying Clinic
West Denver Chapter of Trout Unlimited
Come and learn how to tie the most effective fly patterns being used in the Rocky Mountain West today. Come and observe and interact with our sport’s most creative and successful practitioners of the fly-tying art. Come and participate in the giant bucket raffle to win terrific fishing gear. Come and win great door prizes. Come and enjoy comfort food prepared by our veteran kitchen crew at
our concession stand. Come and try your hand at tying flies at our Beginners’ Station. Come and watch the guys that write the how-to books demonstrate their craft in our Tiers’ Theater. This Clinic is the area’s premier fly-tying event. You can support this annual fund raiser through your attendance. Funds raised will be used toward Clear Creek restoration efforts as well as the Chapter’s myriad educational outreach programs.
A number of the tiers will be featured in the fly tying theater where two hundred people can see the smallest flies up close and personal on the big screen with projection equipment provided by CEVCO Audio Visual
Alan Kube will display his hand crafted bamboo fly rods. Alan has recently been named the Bamboo Rodmaker of the Year. Mr. Kube also provided the bamboo rods in our fantasy raffle last year and this year.
We will also have a BUCKET RAFFLE with new and used fishing related items.
We have 57 tiers scheduled with some coming from Utah, Wyoming, New Mexico, and Texas

Westbound 6th Ave. Exit at Indiana St. , go West on the south service road to the Fairgrounds entrance. Look for the auditorium which has lighted marque sign or just follow the people walking in.
